The swimmer Gloria Muzito was Uganda's flag bearer during the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris.
Muzito has previously competed in – and for – Sweden, after growing up in Sundsvall. She has taken several Swedish Championship medals.
Now the 21-year-old represents Uganda instead.
Dad comes from there and I've lived there for ten years, so I felt that "now it's time to represent Uganda", said Muzito to SVT last winter.
Muzito competes in the 100 meter freestyle at the Olympics. In March, she took bronze at the African Championships on the same distance.
She carried the flag together with cyclist Charles Kagimu.
Sweden's flag bearers were show jumper Peder Fredricson and sailor Josefin Olsson.
