A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated rape of a child, reports Bohusläningen.
According to the newspaper, the suspected rape is said to have taken place in Uddevalla in September. The teenager – who is of high school age and denies the crime – is also suspected of weapons offenses.
There is very strong preliminary investigation secrecy and I cannot comment on anything at all at this stage. We will investigate all circumstances now, says prosecutor Johannes Dävelid.
The teenager has previously been sentenced to six months of youth supervision for, among other things, attempted extortion, assault, and obstruction of justice.
