Two men have been found shot in a local premises in Sätra center in southern Stockholm.
The initial reports suggest that both individuals, who are believed to be adults, were awake and able to speak, says police spokesperson Nadya Norton.
The men were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their condition is not known.
The police were alerted to the shooting just before 4 pm on Friday.
An investigation into attempted murder has been initiated, and investigative work is now underway. We are gathering as much information as possible, including forensic evidence. We are speaking to witnesses, if there are any, and searching for the person or persons responsible, says Nadya Norton.
The area has been cordoned off.
