Three architects from France, Japan, and Mexico have been selected to lead the renovation work on the national museum Centre Pompidou in Paris, reports AFP.
The museum, which is one of the world's premier institutions for contemporary art, will be closed for renovation for five years from September 2025.
The architects Nicolas Moreau, Hiroko Kusunoki, and Frida Escobedo will be responsible for developing the museum's art spaces. The changes will include a revamped library and a panoramic terrace with a view over central Paris.
The total cost of the renovation is expected to amount to 262 million euros.
