The East Goth midfielder stepped off with severe heel pain in the group match against Slovenia in Paris on Wednesday.

Since then, Claar has not played anymore in the Olympic Games.

But when the Blue-Yellow team trained lightly in Lille on Tuesday, where the handball team has now moved, Claar was tested.

Late in the evening, the news came that the Magdeburg star is ready to play in Wednesday's match against Denmark. He is written back into the squad, while Felix Möller is written out.

The injury is such that the more you strain, the more it hurts. After three matches, it hurt so much that he couldn't take anymore, but now he has rested for six, seven days, says national team coach Glenn Solberg.

Claar's importance for the team?

The top level of Felix is that he may have been the world's best midfielder this year. He is one who can really stand up to the Danes and who is also very good defensively.

Sweden finished fourth in its group and will therefore face the Danes, who won the second group, already in the quarterfinals. Denmark is the only undefeated team in the men's handball tournament ahead of the quarterfinals.
