A comprehensive exercise with 20,000 military personnel from the Russian navy has now begun, writes Russia's Defense Ministry according to regime-friendly news agencies.

About 300 ships, submarines, and other vessels will participate in the exercises in the Baltic Sea, Arctic, Pacific Ocean, and Caspian Sea. Even 50 aircraft will participate in the combat training.

Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Russian military has conducted several military exercises, including in cooperation with China and South Africa.

In recent months, Russia has also conducted several exercises with robots that can carry nuclear weapons, reports the Ukrainian newspaper Kyiv Independent.
