I'm going to meet Rupert Murdoch, said Trump during an interview in Fox News' program Fox and Friends.
Murdoch is the only one he can talk to about the matter and the right one to convey the message, a pretty straightforward and simple one, according to Trump:
Run no negative ads in 21 days (read: until the election), said Trump, referring to ads critical of himself.
He added that neither any political opponents nor critics of his, terrible people according to Trump, should be allowed to speak in Murdoch's media.
Trump recently showed great upset over Fox News interviewing the Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Trump said that Rupert Murdoch might not be thrilled that their upcoming meeting is becoming known.
But I'll say: Rupert, do this and then we'll win, and I think that's what we all want, said Trump.
