Before this season, Västerås SK recruited midfielder Marcus Linday from division 2 club Assyriska.
It is now clear that the 21-year-old's next club address will be Dutch Heerenveen.
"Marcus has had an incredible development in VSK and has been sensationally good during his debut season in Allsvenskan. The interest has been record-high and there have been many clubs showing interest during the summer", says VSK coach Kalle Karlsson to the club's website.
Linday will complete the football season with the Allsvenskan bottom team and move to Heerenveen after the turn of the year.
"This will be a good solution for all parties where we secure revenue that will definitely lay the foundation for building the club forward", says Karlsson.
