A 50-year-old woman has died in a drowning accident in Lintjärnen near Mora, according to local media.
The rescue service, ambulance, and police were alerted to the lake late on Saturday evening after the woman was found lifeless in the water.
A woman in the company of her husband was swimming. The woman jumped in and then the man saw something happen in the water. The man helped her up and began CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) and called 112, says Maths Thörn, duty officer at the police, to Mora Tidning.
The police suspect no crime in connection with the incident.
