Al Jazeera media company will be allowed to resume its operations in Israel 10 days earlier than what Israel's Communications Minister Shlomo Karai had requested. A court in Tel Aviv has decided, according to the newspaper Haaretz.

After next Sunday, Al Jazeera will be allowed to resume its operations in Israel when the ban expires, according to a court decision made on Tuesday.

In the beginning of May, the Knesset decided to shut down the media company, which has been accused of one-sided and biased reporting and meant that Al Jazeera sent content that harmed the security of the Israeli state. Meanwhile, it is one of the few media outlets that have been able to keep reporters and photographers inside the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera has categorically denied the Israeli accusations and accused Israel of systematically targeting its employees in the Gaza Strip.
