The police and rescue services were alerted to an explosion at a multi-family house in Perstorp in Skåne on Friday evening.
A loud bang was heard and a stairwell is said to have become smoke-filled, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas.
It quickly became clear that someone had thrown a firecracker into the stairwell, according to the police.
