Up to a ton of explosive materials has been found in a summer cottage area outside Danish Korsør after Monday's deadly explosion. The 52-year-old man who died had previously worked with professional fireworks production.
When the police investigated the site, large quantities of explosive chemicals were found and 140 people in the surrounding area had to be evacuated.
The exact amount is not measured, but approximately it's about up to a ton, which with the help of the Danish defense forces was transported away. During Tuesday afternoon, the cordons could be lifted.
The police believe that the explosion occurred in connection with fireworks production.
