It started burning in an apartment building in Harg outside Nyköping on Saturday morning, writes Sörmlands Nyheter.
A man is said to have woken up to a loud bang, suspected to be from an electric bicycle that caught fire while charging, according to the police to P4 Sörmland.
The alarm about the fire came in just after 7 am and about an hour later it was extinguished.
We have managed to extinguish the fire. We have information that one person is being examined by an ambulance on site for now, says duty officer Andreas Blomquist to the newspaper.
The fire did not spread – however, smoke may have spread, he says to the newspaper.
