The Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson congratulates Ursula von der Leyen on five new years as the Commission's President.
In a statement, he writes that "her leadership contributes to stability in an uncertain time" and that he looks forward to continued cooperation "for support to Ukraine, for increased competitiveness and for the green transition".
EU Minister Jessika Roswall describes her as action-oriented and competent and says that the re-election is "a big step towards getting a new commission in place".
