A man in Uppsala has been arrested, suspected of three rapes, two of which allegedly took place at Akademiska Hospital in Uppsala, reports SVT Uppsala.
"I can confirm that two of the rapes took place in a care situation at Akademiska Hospital in 2021, but not what roles the different individuals had or other circumstances in the case", writes assistant prosecutor Karin Persson in a press release.
The man was arrested and detained on Thursday. The rapes allegedly took place in December 2021.
The man, who is in his 25s, was arrested over the weekend despite denying the allegations.
