Iran-backed Hezbollah has again sent several rockets towards Israel, in response to an attack that killed a commander of the Shia militia in southern Lebanon.
Thursday's exchange of fire between the two parties is nothing unique after several months of shelling. But it takes place in a situation where tensions are running high, following threats of all-out war from both Israel and Hezbollah.
Hezbollah-friendly media report on Thursday that the group is stepping up attacks on Israel and lists five different operations carried out during the day.
