Wilhelm Hallquisth and Herman Hansson were forced to leave with injuries in HV71's loss against Skellefteå on Tuesday. Both had to visit the hospital and now HV71 announces that they will be out of play going forward.
Hallquisth for one or two weeks and Hansson for three months.
"As for Wilhelm, it's an upper body injury that will keep him out of play for 1-2 weeks. Unfortunately, it was a bit worse for Herman. He has a wrist injury that requires surgery and I expect him to miss play for three months," says team doctor Jonas Kalman to the hockey club's website.
HV71 is also already missing Oliwer Kaski and Oscar Fisker Mølgaard. The duo injured themselves in the SHL premiere against Växjö and will be out for approximately four and eight weeks, respectively, due to "upper body injuries."
HV71 has had a tough start to the season with two losses in two matches and, in addition, four injuries. Next, the team plays away against Frölunda on Thursday.
