The Kurdish PKK has taken responsibility for the terrorist attack in Ankara, Turkey on Wednesday, reports AFP.
Five people were killed in the attack, which targeted a complex where a state-owned company in the aviation and defense industry operates.
Turkey directly pointed out PKK as responsible after the attack.
Late on Wednesday evening, Turkey responded by attacking PKK targets in Syria and Iraq. Twelve people are reported to have been killed in the attacks, according to the Kurdish-dominated SDF alliance.
On Friday, five more people are reported to have been killed in Turkish attacks in northern Iraq, according to sources. The attacks are said to have been directed against a group affiliated with PKK.
The SDF alliance is dominated by the Kurdish YPG militia, which is the armed branch of PYD, the largest political party among Kurds in Syria. Turkey equates YPG and PYD with PKK.
The Chief Prosecutor of Ankara launched an investigation into the attack on Wednesday.
