The Danish insurance group Topdanmark has applied for delisting from the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, the company writes in a press release.

In the application, Topdanmark refers to the fact that major shareholder Sampo has initiated a mandatory bid process with the intention of buying the shares in the insurance company that it does not already own.

If the stock exchange approves the application, the last trading day for Topdanmark's share on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange will be October 18, according to the company.
