At least three people have been killed, including a child, in a Russian rocket attack in the port city of Mykolajiv in southern Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj. The rocket is said to have hit a playground near a residential building.
Images published on Telegram show a dead person under the rubble at the entrance to a building and a dead person on a courtyard.
"New solutions are needed to support our defense. Russia must feel the strength of the world", says the Ukrainian President.
Zelenskyj has repeatedly appealed to his allies in the West for deliveries of more air defense systems to protect the country against Russian air attacks.
