The USA is on its way to send additional military equipment to Ukraine worth 2.3 billion dollars. This is according to Defense Minister Lloyd Austin after meeting his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov in Washington.
The package, worth approximately 24.5 billion kronor, includes, among other things, ammunition for the Patriot air defense system.
Ukraine does not stand alone and the USA will never falter in its support, said Austin before the meeting.
Together with 50 allies and partners, we will continue to provide Ukraine with what they need to counter the Russian aggression today and deter Russian aggression tomorrow.
