The 1st of November, "På spåret" is back on SVT – and there will be a new winner this time. Two-time winners Fritte Fritzson and Marie Agerhäll are retiring, but last year's finalists Hector and Peter Apelgren are returning.

After winning Filip and Fredrik's "Alla mot alla" on Kanal 5 twice, media personality Ebba von Sydow is back on "På spåret", where she previously competed with high jumper Stefan Holm.

This time, Ebba von Sydow is paired with Anders Tegnell, widely known for his time as state epidemiologist during the pandemic.

Other new contestants for the season are comedian Christoffer Nyqvist, paired with Anders Eldeman, the long-time host of "Melodikrysset" on Sveriges Radio.

A new duo on the program is also comedian Messiah Hallberg, together with Sara Wimmercranz, venture capitalist known from "Draknästet".

Hanna Dorsin and Emma Molin, who last competed in 2019–2020, are also back again.

SVT is changing the competition format for this year's season. Instead of three groups with three teams each, there are eight pairs divided into two groups this year. This means that participants are guaranteed more matches and there will be two more programs than before, 15 in total.
