Outside the player's entrance, Hammarby supporters stood, singing and enjoying the delayed derby victory over Djurgården.
On the other side of the door, Nahir Besara talked about the support the club always receives.
The 33-year-old believes that it is the fans' heart and his competence that lie behind the success with ten goals and six assists in fourteen derbies.
I love these matches, I know how much they mean to so many people. I know that our supporters will live on this until next year, he says.
"Very strange"
Besara scored Hammarby's two goals on Sunday, during the 75 minutes and 23 seconds the match was played before the fired flares and bangers interrupted the derby, and on Monday it was only about withstanding Djurgården's pressure.
It was very strange. Football should be played with supporters, but if you look at the match, those 15 minutes… It was fun that it was so intense, he says.
After the victory, the team celebrated at the empty fan section and then thanked the supporters for their support outside the arena.
We wanted to give this back to them. We celebrate with them regardless of whether they are there or not, because we know they are there in spirit.
The police's decision
Besara would have liked to see the fans experience the end of the derby and celebrate the victory together with the team.
I thought they would empty Djurgården's side and that we would continue playing. Then it was sad that our fans were punished when they were exemplary, I think that's sad.
But the police made a decision and we have to adapt to it.
