On Monday afternoon, Juventus posted an update on X that probably made many supporters put their espresso in their throats.
The Italian giant club presented the Turkish super talent Arda Güler, normally at Real Madrid, as a new acquisition.
"The future football star is now part of the Juventus family", they wrote on their English account.
The problem was only that it was false. Just a few minutes earlier, the club posted an update on their Italian account, where they announced that they had been hacked.
Afterwards, the account posted additional updates in Turkish.
So far, none of the updates have been deleted, and messages continue to be published in Turkish.
