The crisis-stricken aircraft manufacturer Boeing wants to raise 25 billion dollars, equivalent to around 260 billion kronor.

Last week, Boeing announced that 10 percent of the workforce will be cut. This means 17,000 employees worldwide.

At the same time, a strike has been ongoing at the company since September 13, affecting around 33,000 employees. Recently, the parties announced that the negotiations have broken down.

Boeing has warned that the strike will result in significant losses. The new capital is intended to help the company get through the strike, among other things.
