In a relaxed and cozy environment, you can practice your conversational skills in a language over a cup of coffee or tea. Language cafés have a volunteer leader from an association, organization, or study association. The purpose of language cafés is to encourage learning and conversations in Swedish, but they also offer language cafés in other languages. Examples of languages include:

  • Swedish
  • English
  • Italian
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Ukrainian
  • Chinese

The offerings vary in different parts of the country. On the Stockholm City Library's website, you can search for a language café near you, select "Language Café" as the category, and search.
