AIK will have to manage without Taha Ayari for the rest of the football season.

The 19-year-old midfielder got hurt in connection with a duel during the team's training earlier in the week and injured his knee so badly that it's game over for the year.

"It has now been established that it's a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee, which means an upcoming operation and then a longer rehabilitation", AIK writes in a press release.

Ayari has played 20 competitive matches for AIK this year, of which ten from the start.
