Among the male players, four out of five were part of the Swedish team in the European Championship two years ago in Munich. These are Truls Möregårdh, Anton Källberg, Kristian Karlsson, and Mattias Falck. In addition, Simon Berglund will also travel to Austria.

He won his place through an unofficial European Championship qualification that was played in Halmstad.

The women's team consists of Linda Bergström, Stina Källberg, Filippa Bergand, Matilda Hansson, and Alma Rööse. For Rööse, it means a debut in the European Championship.

"It feels really super fun, I'm so happy to get this opportunity. I've worked very hard and it feels nice to get a receipt for it", she says in a press release.

The European Championship will take place on 15–20 October.
