He was involved in winning the World Championship gold in 2018 – but now the national team career is over for the Frenchman Antoine Griezmann.
"It is with a heart full of memories that I end this chapter in my life", writes the 33-year-old on Instagram.
"Thanks for this magnificent three-coloured adventure."
Griezmann, who also took the European Championship silver in 2016 and World Championship silver in 2022 with France, played 137 A-team matches and scored 44 goals.
The star will, however, continue to play football with the La Liga team Atlético Madrid, where his contract is valid until the summer of 2026.
