Two in Prague's Grand Prix, 18 inserted points and tie-breaking in the VM series.

Fredrik Lindgren had a fine first summer day.

The Swedish speedway star started the season strongly with a third-place finish in Croatia's GP, but had it tougher in Poland and Germany.

The visit to the Czech capital gave more.

Lindgren was only beaten by Slovakian Martin Vakulic, who won the final. Vakulic had reason to celebrate properly – he won the competition for the third year in a row.

Poles Bartosz Zmarzlik and Dominik Kubera came in third and fourth.

Zmarzlik leads the VM series clearly after four rounds of the eleven. He has accumulated 66 points, despite waiting for his first win of the year.

Australian Jack Holder is second with 54 points, one more than British Robert Lambert.

Lindgren's 44 inserted points are enough for seventh place in the overall standings and he has only three points to the total fourth, Australian Jason Doyle.

The next VM race will be held in Målilla on June 15th.
