The Danish spring was record warm. The average temperature in March, April, and May was 9.1 degrees, according to the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI). It is 0.1 degrees warmer than the previous temperature record for spring months, which was measured in 2007.

Spring 2024 was also the third wettest recorded in Denmark.
