"Don't kill me", she screams when she is taken away on a motorcycle. The video clip of Noa Argamani being kidnapped from the Nova music festival has received widespread dissemination and has made her one of the more well-known among the hostages.

Now, after eight months, she has been rescued.

About 3,000 young people danced under the night of Saturday, October 7, at the Nova festival in Israel. They didn't know that a massive terrorist attack would soon begin. Participants were shot and explosions were heard. People tried to flee for their lives, but 26-year-old Noa Argamani failed to escape the terrorists.

The video clip of her being taken away on a motorcycle has been shared many times on social media, often with the text "her name is Noa".

She is seen stretching towards her boyfriend Avinatan Or, who was also taken hostage at the festival. He is still being held by Hamas in Gaza.

Noa Argaman's mother Liora has a severe form of brain cancer and has spoken to the media about her desire to see her daughter again.

There are still many question marks surrounding what has happened in Noa Argaman's life over the past eight months. Hamas has released several video clips of her, according to the Jerusalem Post. In one released in January, she talks about other hostages who have been killed in airstrikes and urges Israel to take her and others home.

Israel has now succeeded in doing so. On Saturday, the Israeli military freed Noa Argamani and three other hostages in a large military operation in Gaza.

Her condition is described as stable. On her way home in a helicopter, it can be seen how her father hugs her after they were reunited.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel. About 2,500 armed Hamas militiamen broke through the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel in a coordinated manner. Thousands of rockets were fired at Israeli territory.

More than 1,100 people in Israel were shot, hacked, and burned to death. Massacres were committed in kibbutzim and at the Nova music festival, which was held near the border. According to Israeli reports, systematic rapes, torture, and mutilations occurred.

Nearly 250 people, including children, were taken as hostages and taken to Gaza by Hamas.

The day after the deadliest attack on Israel in the country's history, the Israeli government officially declared war on Hamas. The area has since been largely destroyed in extensive and ongoing bombings. Israel has vowed to destroy Hamas.

About 120 people who were kidnapped by Hamas in October are still being held hostage in Gaza. However, many of them are feared to be no longer alive.

More than 36,000 people have died in Gaza since the October 7 attack, according to the Hamas-controlled Health Ministry.
