USA's former president became historic when he was convicted of 34 charges in New York on Friday. The sentence will be announced on July 11.
Donald Trump has since repeated a series of unfounded allegations that the current president of the country would have influenced the trial – but in the moment when the verdict was read out, he was characteristically calm. This surprised his defense lawyer Todd Blanche.
Trump, who has called the trial "very unfair", has announced that he will appeal the verdict.
